You couldn't have picked a better day to hold the annual Belleville Bulls Season Ticket Holder Barbeque. With clear skies and warm temperatures, the Bulls community gathered at the Yardmen Arena to see new and familiar faces in uniform.

Thanks to great sponsors, the day was a great success. The Bull and Boar was on hand to provide pulled pork sandwiches while Cool 100 was also at the event, pumping out great country music.

Newly appointed Bulls public address announcer David Hurst introduced the 2011-12 Bulls as they signed autographs and conversed with fans.

After a 5-1 preseason, there's plenty of buzz and excitement around the Yardmen this September. "We're very excited about young players like Brendan Gaunce, a guy who really fits the mould of a player you could build a team around," said long time season ticket holder and 2011 Hounslow Award winner Paul Deryaw. "Despite the past two seasons having their share of ups and downs, we still enjoy coming out to the rink and supporting the team, it's something my family and I always look forward to."

Sunday's barbeque kicks off a busy week in preparation for the upcoming season that kicks off Friday night in Ottawa. The Bulls will hold their home opener on Saturday night against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at 7:05.

The Bulls organization would like to extend it's thanks to all it's dedicated fans who participated in Sunday's event and look forward to seeing them out at the rink this season!
