Many Events Upcoming for Bulls Fans
Fans will have a number of opportunities to participate in Belleville Bulls events over the next three weeks that support several worthwhile causes. These events include Beat the Bulls Skate Relay, Bowling with the Bulls, the Zellers Teddy Bear toss, and two Gleaners Food Bank games.
Fans are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to Bulls games on Saturday November 22 against the Sarnia Sting and Saturday, December 6 versus the Barrie Colts. All donations will be collected and given to the Gleaners Food Bank. Also on December 6, the Bulls will be holding their annual Zellers Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are asked to throw a stuffed animal on the ice following Belleville’s first goal of the game. The bears will be collected and donated to Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Salvation Army. Zellers will also be donating 3,000 boxes of Kraft Dinner to the Gleaners Food Bank.
On Monday, November 24, the annual Beat the Bulls Skate Relay will be held at the Yardmen Arena from 6:30pm-8:30pm in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Teams of three can register at the Heart and Stroke Foundation Office on Dundas Street beside the Police Station. Each team will have the opportunity to select a Bull as their fourth team member.
Bowling with the Bulls also returns for another year on Sunday, December 7 at Quinte Bowl from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The event is in support of the Lung Association. Those interested in participating can pick-up a registration from at the Bulls Box Office and return completed forms to the Lung Association Office in Century Place. Registered teams will be paired with a Belleville Bull to bowl with.
