TORONTO, ON - The Ontario Hockey League has named Michael Curtis as the East Division's Academic Player of the Month for November. Curtis, a former second round pick by the Bulls in 2009 is in his third season with the club and serves as one of the team's best penalty killers.

Curtis attends Quinte Secondary School and is completing his grade 12 University level courses. The 18 year-old carries an 88% average into his midterm reports. Like his game on the ice, Michael works hard in the classroom and his teachers at Quinte Secondary congratulate him on his accomplishments and wish him the best of luck down the road on and off the ice.

Curtis is joined by fellow OHL'ers in Plymouth's Tom Wilson, Erie's Adam Pelech and Barrie's Aaron Ekblad in receiving the honours for November.
