The Belleville Bulls are pleased to announce that they have partnered with Loyalist College in a joint fundraising endeavor to support The Katrina Relief Fund. After being approached by the students from Loyalist College to partner in a fundraising project, the Bulls received exemption from an Ontario Hockey League initiative which provides that each team will execute a collection on their respective home opening games.
The Bulls and Loyalist College will execute their fundraising event on Wednesday September 28th when the Bulls host the Kingston Frontenacs however students from Loyalist will begin their campaign at the Bulls Home Opener Party, September 24th from 4pm-7pm. Students will be offering specialties from their culinary school as well selling Mardi Gras necklaces to add to the festivities. The Bulls will be offering a discounted ticket for the September 28th game to Loyalist students of which a portion will be donated to the relief fund. Students will participate at the game and during the intermission executing fund raising activities. All proceeds will be presented to the OHL and forwarded to the Red Cross. |  |
