Panthers Return Matthias to Bulls
The Florida Panthers have returned Shawn Matthias to the Belleville Bulls. Matthias will rejoin the Bulls Friday night in Kitchener when they face the top ranked Rangers. Friday’s game can be seen live on Rogers Sportsnet beginning at 7:00pm.
Matthias played four games with the Panthers, scoring twice and adding two penalty minutes after being called up last week. In 32 games with Belleville this season, the Mississauga native has recorded 21 goals and 37 assists. He will also be representing the Bulls at the 2008 OHL All-Star Classic being held February 5-6 in Sault Ste. Marie.
