Bulls Hockey School Instructor Wins Silver Medal at World Championships
Belleville Bulls hockey school instructor Jackie Jarrell won a silver medal with Team Canada at the 2008 Inline World Hockey Championships held this month in Germany. Canada lost 3-2 in overtime to the Czech Republic in the gold medal game.
Canada reached the finals following a 4-1 round robin record that included victories over the Czech Republic, Namibia, Finland, and Spain along with a loss to France. The Canadian side then defeated the United States 2-0 in a semi-final to reach the gold medal game.
