Meet Ron Ellis on Saturday
Bulls’ fans will have the opportunity to meet former Toronto Maple Leaf Ron Ellis at the game Saturday night against the Barrie Colts. Ellis will be on hand in support of the Lung Association Holiday Ice Print program.
Fans wishing to meet Ellis can do so by purchasing a Holiday Ice Print at the game. They will then be able to get their print signed and have their picture taken with the former Maple Leaf great. Those who have previously purchased a Holiday Ice Print are also eligible for this meet and greet. Ellis will be signing from 6:15pm to 7:15pm above the Wally Dever Arena and also during the first intermission.
Ron Ellis spent his entire 16 season NHL career with the Toronto Maple Leafs. In 1,034 career games with the Leafs, Ellis scored 332 goals while adding 308 assists and 207 penalty minutes. The four time all-star was a member of the Leafs last Stanley Cup winning team in 1967. Ellis also represented Team Canada at the 1972 Summit Series recording three assists in eight games. He is now a spokesman for the Lung Association.
Holiday Ice’ is a limited edition, customized print signed and numbered by renowned sports artist Shirley Deaville. The print is available unframed for $99.99 or with a black wood frame with black mat for $149.99. The Bulls Holiday Ice print is available in limited quantities of just 950. Proceeds from the print will go to the Lung Association’s Christmas Seals Campaign along with the Bulls education fund.
