2008 OHL Priority Selection to be Held this Saturday
The 2008 OHL Priority Selection will be held this Saturday, May 3rd. The annual event allows the draft eligible players from across the province and parts of the United States to be selected by OHL teams in a 15 round priority selection.
The Belleville Bulls will be picking 19th overall in the first round of draft. Last season, the Bulls used their first round pick to select Tyler Randell before grabbing current players Andy Bathgate, Robert Stellick, and Luke Judson in later rounds. Other former first round picks include current players Shawn Lalonde and Bryan Cameron along with former stars Justin Papineau, Dan Cleary, Jonathan Cheechoo, and Dan Quinn.
The draft will begin at 9:00am on Saturday and fans wishing to follow the process can do so at bellevillebulls.com and at ontariohockeyleague.com which will feature a live video webcast for the first three rounds.
